2025 CPD Requirement for 2026 Certification

Provided here are a list of recommended cosmetic-surgery specific CPD activities for 2025.

Requirement for 2026 Certification is:

Minimum of 1 hour in Domain 1: Measuring Outcomes in Cosmetic Surgery
Minimum of 1 hour in Domain 2: Performance Review in Cosmetic Surgery
Minimum of 1 hour in Domain 3: Educational Activities in Cosmetic Surgery

A Total of 12.5 Hours of CPD

Please note that this is not the only activities that can be accredited, however, this is a list of activities that is provided and/or approved by the Australian New Zealand Board of Cosmetic Plastic Surgeons.

For all activities provided by ASAPS, no submission of evidence is required. You will still need to record your attendance in the member’s log-in area. However, your attendance will be automatically checked with ASAPS records.

Domain 3: EDUCATION (requirement 1 hour minimum)

Types of Activities:

Meetings/Workshops/Conferences

- Points can be awarded for both Presentation or Attendance
- Number of CPD hours is dependent on the cosmetic-specific content in conference program.
- For some events, the allocated CPD hours will be published once programs have been submitted and reviewed by the board, these will be marked as TBC.
- If you are attending a meeting/conference/workshop that is not on the recommended list, please submit it for approval prior to your attendance to make sure that it meets the criteria for allocation of CPD points. You can submit a meeting for approval through your member login HERE.

Other learning activities as listed by RACS CPD can be used for certification as long as it is relevant with cosmetic surgery content (e.g. Research, Publications etc)
